Have you ever felt like something was off in your body and no matter what you did, you couldn’t get rid of that nagging feeling? That’s where Shiftwave comes in. At the Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic, we are proud to offer this revolutionary technology to help our clients discover the root cause of their pain and discomfort. Let’s take a look at how it works and why people are raving about it.

How Does It Work?

Shiftwave is a nervous system training technology that helps identify imbalances in the nervous system. It does this by using advanced non-invasive algorithms to measure brainwaves, heart rate variability, and skin conductance levels. This data is then analyzed to pinpoint areas of dysfunction within the body. From there, an individualized program is created that focuses on restoring balance and reducing pain throughout the body.

The Benefits of Shiftwave

The most obvious benefit of using Shiftwave is that it can help reduce chronic pain in areas such as your back, neck, or joints. But beyond simply relieving physical pain, many clients have found that using Shiftwave has had an overall positive impact on their mental health as well. The technology provides insight into how stress impacts the body and how each individual reacts to it differently—allowing them to better understand their own bodies and take proactive steps towards leading a healthier lifestyle.

In addition, many people have reported improved sleep patterns after utilizing Shiftwave training sessions; this is because it not only helps identify underlying issues but also addresses them with targeted exercises tailored specifically for each client's needs. Finally, some clients have even found that using Shiftwave has improved their overall performance both at work and in their personal lives due to increased focus and clarity of thought!

At Surrey Neuroplasticity Clinic, we believe everyone deserves to feel healthy and happy—and we’re proud to offer our clients access to Shiftwave’s revolutionary technology. By combining advanced data analysis with personalized exercises tailored for each individual client’s needs, Shiftwave can help unlock a whole new level of wellness for anyone who wants to take control over their health journey! If you’re ready to try out this groundbreaking technology for yourself—or if you just have questions about how it can benefit your life—we invite you to give us a call today!

Jelimark (Jeli) Alvarez was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2018. In November 2023, he moved to Surrey, BC and is enjoying this new transition of life.

Jelimark’s passion for Kinesiology stemmed from when he first suffered a debilitating knee injury in 2012 that required two surgical operations. Throughout his rehabilitation process, he built a rapport with the clinicians treating him, finding out how they got to where they were, and that’s when he first heard about Kinesiology. With a passion for wanting to help people and to continuously know more about the human body, Jelimark was motivated to venture in this field. He simple believes and values wanting others to feel and move better so they can “move in life to the fullest”.

He has worked in a physiotherapy clinic as both a Return-to-Work Kinesiologist and some experience working in Long-Term Disability as well. His most recent work consisted of conducting Preventative Health Assessments to provide recommendations addressing the gaps and barriers of a patient’s functional health. Jelimark also has experience in conducting many Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) for rehabilitation or occupational health purposes.

Outside of work, Jelimark loves to play basketball (plus any other sport!), snowboard, socialize, play video games, and is still exploring the Lower Mainland.
